The B&B's gardens were well-maintained and beautiful. The hosts were friendly and offered tea and biscuits upon arrival.- The room was modern, clean, and had a pleasant view.- Breakfast had a good selection, including fresh fruit and Irish breakfast.- The hosts were helpful in providing directions and advice for the journey forward.
The location of the B&B was a bit remote and off the beaten path. The Wi-Fi signal was weak, especially in the rooms.

Joe and Noreen at Kilcatten Lodge were the epitome of hospitality. When my partner and I fell ill upon our arrival, they went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. We were grateful for their care and support during a difficult time. The room was clean and cozy, and the breakfast, especially the salmon with scrambled eggs, was absolutely delicious. I highly recommend this hotel for its warm and accommodating hosts.

Lovely coastal views, great for whale and dolphin spotting, world-class golf course nearby, ideal location for exploring West Cork, adorable labs, impressive customer satisfaction award.
Oh, and the 2 labs that greet you will fill your heart with so much joy, it's a real inconvenience.

The nearby Sea Angling Centre was so much fun, we tried self-drive boats and felt like real sailors! We even caught a shark, talk about adrenaline rush! Timoleague village had the most scenic walks, perfect for Instagram pics. The property is lit for young people, definitely recommend for a fun-filled vacation.
Wish there were more options for young party-goers at night, like a cool club or a place to dance.

We definitely got great value for our money at Kilcatten Lodge. The room was spacious, clean, and incredibly comfortable. The location was perfect, surrounded by beautiful scenery and close to charming towns with hidden gems to explore. The staff, Noreen and Joe, treated us like family and were extremely helpful with recommendations. They even let us relax in their beautiful garden by the fire pit in the evening. our stay at Kilcatten Lodge made our visit to Cork even more enjoyable.
The breakfast selection could have been improved with more variety.

The rooms at Kilcatten Lodge are incredibly cozy and comfortable, with a seating area to unwind and relax after a hectic day. As a tired business traveler, it felt like a dream come true!
Personally, I found the free WiFi a bit slow. But hey, it's just my opinion, maybe others wouldn't mind!

We had a great time during our new year vacation in a B&B close to Timoleague. The room was spacious, with good lighting options and plenty of space for our luggage. The use of the communal kitchen was a great added bonus and allowed us to have drinks and snacks whenever we wanted them. The friendly and helpful owners were a key part of our experience, with great recommendations for local spots and attractions. The nearby coastal towns were easily accessible from here and provided great options for day trips.
There were a couple of minor disappointments. The wifi signal in the room was weak and didn't work well.

We had a blast with the self-drive boats, feeling like badass sailors exploring the stunning coasts. And boy, the shark fishing was intense! We caught some massive sharks that could eat us for breakfast. Definitely a thrilling adventure for adrenaline junkies like us!
The only thing that could have made it more lit for young party-goers like us would be some cool nightlife options nearby. A banging club or even a chill bar where we could dance the night away would have been the cherry on top of an already awesome trip!

Staying at this hotel was a real treat! Cleanliness was excellent, and the breakfast choices were delicious. The hotel facilities were great too, as we had a visitors' kitchen for our own use, and the parking was convenient. The hotel's staff were helpful, and they always had good suggestions for transportation to nearby places. The location was fantastic, as it was close to the Atlantic coast and situated in a peaceful village near Timoleague.
Can't fault the hotel in any way.

The hosts were really friendly and welcoming. They gave us loads of great tips on where to go and what to see in the local area which was really helpful. The breakfast was delicious, especially the homemade bread and scones. The location was great for us, a short drive away from the village where we could find some nice pubs and restaurants. The grounds were really beautiful and it was great to just relax and enjoy the countryside.
Honestly, we couldn't find anything to dislike about our stay. Everything was really lovely and we had a great time.
